Sandra Scannell

NM Physical Therapist, Adv.Pil.Mat, Exercise Consultant, Personal Trainer

Sandra Scannell is a nmPhysical Therapist and Fitness Coach. With over 15 years in the Industry, she has gained a vast knowledge of biomechanical movement in the human body.  Sandra specialises in functional movement, corrective exercise, postural alignment and fascial release – utilising Physical Therapy, Clinical Pilates and Functional Movement as a rehabilitation therapy. 

Nice to Know:

Sandra is a mother of 4 children (some of them are young adults now) so she completely understands the obstacles that people have to encounter even before they get out the door to train!   Sandra believes in a wholistic training system, to incorporate the mind and the body.   Both have to work in harmony and health to ensure the best possible results.

Lucia Wilson

Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Irish Dance Teacher & student of Precision Nutrition

Lucia Wilson is an N.T.C qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor.  She has been working in the fitness industry offering a wide spectrum of classes including running, trampolining and baby body fit classes amongst many others. Lucia has a solid knowledge of anatomy and exercise physiology.  She approaches her work with a high level of initiative, reliability, empathy and determination.

Nice to Know:

Lucia is a mum.  She’s taught Irish Dancing in Summer schools since she qualified a couple of years ago.  She’s toured Germany with the dance show “Spirit of Ireland”.   She’s fluent in Irish and has won the amazon Superstar Award!   We think she’s talented all around!

Michelle Parker

Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer

Michelle Parker is a REPS Ireland certified Group fitness instructor, Gym instructor and Personal trainer. Michelle is currently studying (BSc) Health and Leisure in the Institute Technology Tralee.

Michelle has acquired a vast knowledge of anatomy, physiology, nutrition, kinesiology, postural analysis, health and wellbeing studies as well as Aquatics. 

Nice to Know:

Michelle is currently studying P.E.  Teaching in the Institute Technology  Tralee.  Michelle is hard working, positive and always encouraging.  She’s a superstar on the pitch!   She’s a Senior Ladies Footballer and plays with Fermoy Ladies Club.  Michelle is very active and loves the outdoor life. Michelle is obviously a high achieving sportswoman and it’s this standard of excellence that she delivers to her clients.  We’re very lucky to have Michelle working at Fit Republic!

Jack Scannell

Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer

Jack Scannell is a N.E.F.P.C qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor.  He qualified in March 2017 after completing a course with IFT (Image Fitness Training).  During his time on this course he acquired a vast knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and nutrition.

Nice to Know:

Jack is also a full time student.   He leads a very active lifestyle and has been playing sports all his life. His main sport is GAA but he also plays golf.   Jack has acquired many sporting accolades including All Ireland Golf medal.
